2008 Township Comprehensive Plan Public Hearing

Board of Supervisors named the new date: Aug 12, 7pm, at the Middle School.

However, watch this date because it conflicts with the regularly scheduled Zoning Hearing Board Meeting - same time, same date - at the township building. We don't know what they will do about this conflict. Go to the township website for their calendar here. (page down to the calendar). Let the township know you disagree with this double booking.

Come to discuss the township land use plan for the next decade.

The draft 2008 Township Comprehensive Plan is available for public review now at the Township building.

From East Norriton Township Newsletter Spring/Summer 2008:

The East Norriton Township Comprehensive Plan Update for 2008 is nearing completion. Once completed, a copy of the 2008 update will be mailed to all property owners this spring. The last update to the comprehensive plan was completed in 2000. The update covers such topics as housing, transportation, community facilities, open space recommendations, historic resources, land use, new development projections through 2025, and goals and objectives of the plan. This plan update will be prepared as a color brochure and a copy will be mailed to each household for their review and comments before it is formally adopted by the Board of Supervisors in the early summer of 2008 at a regularly scheduled public meeting.
