East Norriton Residents Organization (ENRO)

"Great picnic! We should do this more often!"

What a GREAT picnic! The first ever East Norriton Residents Picnic at the Farm Park on June 19 was a huge success. Attendance was double what we expected. Neighbors met and shared views on developments in the township, the draft Comprehensive Plan, and the hospital complex - here's what some said:

  • "I believe the information made available to attendees and the friendliness of the hosts will aid in giving ENRO a positive presence in the community."
  • "Thanks to the people who manned the food and beverage area -- free food served up by friendly people didn't hurt either."

The Lawsuits

The legal challenges are still on track: Residents Sue Township.  Two challenges to the zoning changes for the proposed Einstein hospital at Woods Golf Center have been filed. Our legal team feels Einstein and the Township have committed multiple violations of the PA Sunshine Law and  Municipalities Planning Code. It is not likely the ground breaking for this hospital can take place until all the legal challenges have made their way though the court system .... and that could take years. See coverage in Times Herald April 16. Watch for hearing dates!
